2nds continue winning form in a brilliant team performance at Cherry Willingham
Great win again by the 2s away at Cherry. Bowling first they reached 185-7, probably 30 runs more than we should have allowed them. However with a very fast outfield the bowlers did well. Ciaron Deegan bowled an incredibly tight spell going for just 21 from his 12 overs and deserved a wicket. Rory Franklin bowled very well and ended with 2-44 and Simon Leek chipped in with 4-50. George Luya also fielded like a trooper for 20 overs with a dislocated finger and had no idea. In reply, Tom Brumby(40) got us off to flier again and lost 3 of their balls inside 4 overs. Everyone else contributed with good starts although didn't push on. David James 22, Jordan Quibell 23, Matty Pashley 36, Stuart Parker 30. Special mention to Harry Pope who steered us home with a solid 17 no. Winning the game with a beautiful 4. Another great team performance from everyone.
