GEORGE MARSHALL CUP WINNERS
The 1st team won the Lincolnshire County Cricket League's George Marshall Trophy at Grimsby Town on Sunday – beating Messingham by five wickets.
In a well fought game against one of our rivals, Messingham made 139 for nine in their 45 overs, which Town overhauled with two overs to spare.
With Skipper, Ian Snowden finished unbeaten on 49, while Ramesh Chand scored 46. And messinghams Danny Rands, taking three for 36. But the man of the match award went to our very own Ciaron Deegan, who bagged five for 26 during the first phase of the game.
